I had to visit the Aus Google page since my current page hasn't changed over yet (time zones I'm sure). (edit: didn't think to click your link rather then trying to look at my own page) Anyways the 4 images I get are a barcode w/o numbers, barcode w/ numbers, barcode with the word 'FREEDOM' underneath and the 'bars' are split apart over the EE, and another barcode with numbers. The alternate text for mouse hover on Google shows as 'Invention of the Barcode'. Odd though because I did a little searching around and wikianswers popped up with some info. This was part of the answer given after a person asked when it was invented.
I wonder why they would be nearly 2 weeks early if that's correct.
