JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak on Friday issued a thinly veiled call for the United States not to rule out the possibility of a military strike against Iran because of its nuclear ambitions.

"We don't rule out any option. We recommend others don't rule out any option either," Barak told journalists after talks with visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

I saw this one coming for a while. Too bad 75% of the Jewish extended family just said no to Israel when they cast their ballots here in the US for Obama.

Not really that big of a deal however. There is a very good chance Benyamin Netanyahu will be elected PM of Israel in the upcomming elections, and he is an oldschool hardliner.
He will act unilaterally* (US won't condemn Israel's actions, but they will call for diplomacy, etc while under the table helping out with intel, weapons, gear, etc) if pushed.

And we will see Russia and China supporting Iran and Syria the same way.

(IsraelNN.com) A weekend 5.0 Richter earthquake in Iran was actually a nuclear bomb test, says an Iranian nuclear scientist claiming to be working on the project.

The report is an Israel Insider exclusive.

This past Saturday night, southern Iran experienced what was reported as a significant earthquake - a seismic event measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was just north of the strategic Straits of Hormuz, which separates Iran from Abu Dhabi and Oman and which is the gateway to the Persian Gulf

While i have heard and read this. I have also read that it was nothing more than a earthquake in the region that happens often.

Whether or not it is true is dependent on a few things.

Hehe, less than 3 days after the "big one", I read a few more smaller ones happened.

I think it's nothing more than Iran taking advantage to lay fear into the region/world, personally. Shocking, I know.
