I have been wondering the same thing. I see all sorts of news but not sure if I should post it here or not. Latest I read was that news corp CEO Murdoch stated that bloggers and other online people are spewing the truth and they the news media are telling lies.

Seeing as N. Korea allegedly had some fun cyber-attacking recently and all.

I was having this discussion over the weekend. I think a lot of it is that we have a great group of like minded individuals. The problem is that there is very little in the way of debate of discussing the news and info we put up here. We'll post up something and all of the responses are "Yeah!" or "WOW!! I agree that's soo bad!" While it's nice that we all agree, it like the only people in the church are the choir. I can understand why we don't have liberals coming in with conflicking ideas and rigirous debate, though. It's hard to argue with the truth. But with out the back and forth, all we have is a site that we post up a bunch of news articles.

Just my 2 cents.

i agree about not having the back and forth, but i also find alot more info here than browsing the local news paper or fumbling through yahoos new section.

But things are getting crappier, thats for sure. THe recession proof south with all its chemical based industry sucks right now. I believe its finally starting to set in around here. Although in my world of work (food) business always slows in the summer, so its a bad time to compare, but it seems to be slowing all around

I agree...we are telling each other stuff that we probably already know or trying to argue a point we all agree with. Should we somehow try to reach out to the Libbs (maybe on s10 forum?) and get some different perspectives in here. Problem being is that most likely a Libb would come in here, read NONE of the posts and start calling us all ignorant racists etc... That is the real shame. The hyper intelligent, super enlightened, superior American Liberal most often wont even engage in an intelligent debate. Seems like they could do better than petty name calling and Bush bashing if they were in fact half as smart as they claim to be.

SOrry for not posting lately. I have had some things come up in life that I had to take care of. I have been way way way busy. As seen on a few of the sites I own and manage.

I should be back a little better in the near future.

As far as the comments on like minded individuals .... Yea we are too much alike here with many things. We do not have a good base to debate as we all are in agreement on the news...

I would like to get a healthy debate on in here, but we all know how those end. lol
