President Barack Obama signed the bill in private, unlike a number of recent signings that took place with fanfare, but he raised the issue of earmarks in public remarks playing down their scope and possible harm in the measure. They comprise about 1 percent of the spending package, which will keep the government running through September, he told reporters.

Obama issued a signing statement on a bill with 9000 earmarks can you explain how that is change from the Bush administration? How this is change at all? I am at a loss here.

I think the only "change" obama voters care about is the fact that BHO is in the whitehouse. I honestly believe at this point that his constituents dont give a rip about what he does...I mean,come on...Its O-BA-MA, O-BA-MA, say it with me O-BA-MA!!!!

I just love listening to his campaign BS "I will eliminate all earmarks"... Then he signs a bill thats packed with them and the MSM and his cabinets say "oh, uhhh..this bill is technically last years business so, uhh yeah it doesnt count." In what F'n world does BS like this fly???
