It kills me that there was all this uproar about the Tea Party and there is little to no follow up with the whole idea and thought of this. What gets me the most is Republicans in power are staying fairly clear of this. They stayed pretty clear of it during the uproar and during the protests, yet they want us followers to support them.
Now is the time that we the people need to take a stand and follow up with these national tea parties. We can not just have one uproar and then expect things to change. It does not work that way. TPTB will and have ignored what happened by down playing everything that was done. They see this as a one time thing that the people did out of spite and nothing more. They feel that we the people do not care enough to continue protesting and continue with the movement. With that said this movement will soon be forgotten as the media will stop covering it. They will stop giving it the air time as the TPTB have dictated.
BUT if we all continue this movement and continue with protests over this daily in small ways, with small actions OR even larger actions then TPTB can not ignore what the populace really wants. This is where Americans need to get get off their collective butts and do what their forefathers did.
Stand up for your rights. Grow a set of balls. Stop the transgressions of the government and their wasteful process. Only then will we; those that believe in the Tea Party movement, will be listened too.
Every one of us who attended a tea party... EVERY ONE... has got to follow up with action.
Get bumper stickers such as...
"Government: Destroying Capitalism One Day at a Time."
"Cut Frivolous Spending, NOT the US Military"
"Dump (insert your local tax and spend congresspersons name here)."
Most of us could do simple things such as putting up signs NOW ... don’t wait until this fall. Put them on roadsides, not just in yards. The more that the word gets out the more that it is infront of people the more they will be made aware of this. Yes, we have the chance that it will become dullard to the common person who really did not care and does not care, but it will always have an effect on those that have that spark in their mind, but dont say anything.
At key intersections people can put up hand made signs such as...
"Proud to be an American capitalist: Ashamed of our Current Government!"
I’ve done it in a few places within my new small town...mind you it is a heavy Republican/Conservative town that does support my actions and is not afraid of saying it. lol. I have made a few well signs in Fort Worth and in Keller as I frequent there. Some are still there others have been destroyed...does not bother me as many saw them in the key intersections for the time they were there.
It is true that motorists will begin to get on board once they see that the majority of people think our current administration immoral/amoral and destructive.
It’s not a lot of work if each and every person who attended a tea party just does a little bit. In fact I was considering taking out a 30 day sign on 635 and one on I30 with a statement. If I do, watch this site for the pictures! I was thinking something along the lines of
I’LL KEEP MY MONEY, MY GUNS, MY FAITH & MY FREEDOM AND...
YOU CAN KEEP THE “CHANGE”!!!

BTW, to those that are reading this. This is not an attack on the President. We can not make it such a thing as the MSM and TPTB will twist this into a racist and Hatemongering action being pursued against the President and nothing more. We need to make this about freedom vs. slavery, taxation without representation, the future prosperity of our children/grandchildren etc.
Keeping it about these issues will result in a more broad based support. Democrats won’t get involved in a movement that’s all about bashing Obama; whom they voted for, but many will back a movement that’s based on the issues cited above. This is where we need to approach this.
We NEED to demonstrate ourselves as civilized and not associating ourselves with rouge elements of the kook fringe, yes I am one of those kooks, but that is beside the point. We will always have these people in any organization, but disassociating ourselves from them is key. We can not let the MSMs tie us to them.
If each and every attendee would step up and do one small thing daily or weekly then we could have a real movement and not one that is just brushed off as is whats happening now.
